Remøy Shipping AS secures 1-Year firm Charter with Equinor Energy AS for the PSV Rem Crusader (VS 485 CD)

Remøy Shipping AS, on behalf of the ship-owning company Norwegian PSV III AS, has been awarded a firm Charter contract with Equinor Energy AS for the PSV Rem Crusader. The charter period is for 1 year firm with an additional option period of 6 Months. Commencement of the contract will be in the last part of July. The contract is for operations on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Remøy Shipping AS operates a fleet of 11 PSVs. Rem Crusader has been operating on the UK continental shelf since she entered the Remøy Shipping fleet in 2023. “The award of this contract will strengthen our position on the Norwegian sector and contribute to maintain and further develop opportunities for Norwegian seafarers. Upholding the offshore operational competence is necessary to secure a sustainable development towards the zero-emission goals of the shipping industry” says Remøy Shipping CEO Karl-Johan Bakken, adding: “and we are particularly satisfied with this opportunity to continue the long-standing relations our company has with Equinor, also for this charter award.
